Adhering to Principal Jiang Xiaoyong’s educational philosophy "To make every student cherish their hope", the Primary School curriculum adopts the "1 + 2 model”, that is, core courses plus extended courses, and inquiry courses. While the core courses meet the city education standards, the extended courses are comprised of compulsory and elective modules, including sinology, calligraphy, body shaping, swimming, etc., and the inquiry courses are interdisciplinary, aiming to cultivate students’ questioning spirit and inquiry abilities. The Primary School Division has been developing and improving the curriculum to raise the overall quality, and has surpassed the city standards for many years.
