The school has an excellent teaching and support team with a mixture of experience and youth. These professional, responsible, enthusiastic and loving teachers and staff, including Mathematical Olympiad national level coaches and Classroom Teaching Contest winners come from China and across the globe, forming an international environment, and a systematic structure, which is comprised of experts as the foundation and outstanding teachers as the backbone.
Through school-based trainings carried out by well-known local educators, overseas trainings and other means, Shangde has achieved the professional development of teachers, activated teachers’ enthusiasm and vitality, and paved the path for their professional growth. More than 50% of our staff has won national and municipal scientific research or teaching awards.
“Splendid class, efficient lesson” is a motto which represents the pursuit of perfect teaching by all teachers in Shangde. Teachers design the classroom teaching by injecting “interests, habits and methods” into each lesson in order to motivate students and make them the essential parts of the classroom.
